Overview
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Ruby on Rails developer to join our small team, working on our industry leading CRM.
You will be reporting directly to our Head of Technology and working alongside a team of experienced developers to build, maintain and enhance our web applications.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong passion for web development, a solid understanding of Ruby on Rails, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities
- Develop, and maintain features of our CRM using Ruby on Rails and React
- Collaborate with the team to ensure code quality and application performance
- Participate in code reviews and help drive code quality and standards
- Write automated tests to ensure software reliability
- Work with our Technical Director and other team members to troubleshoot and debug issues
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in the industry
Requirements
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React
- Strong experience with MySQL
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with React.js or other front-end JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure platform
Benefits
Salary
- £42,000 - £47,000
- Annual bonus linked to performance
Annual leave:
- 23 days plus bank holidays
- +1 day for every full year worked (maximum 30)
Pension:
- 5% employee and 3% employer contributions
