# Smaller Earth Group

> Smaller Earth Group is an international group of cultural exchange brands, founded in Liverpool, England in 1999. The group operates across 17 countries, has supported over 100,000 participants, and became an Employee Ownership Trust in 2024.

Smaller Earth Group is the holding company for a portfolio of cultural exchange
brands and the technology that runs them. It provides strategy, support and
centralised services — marketing, operations and accounting — to its brands,
which recruit and place young people in summer camp, resort and work-travel
programs, mainly in the United States and Canada.

The group is owned by its employees through an Employee Ownership Trust,
established in 2024 after 25 years under its founders, Chris Arnold and Dave
Robinson. Head office is in Liverpool, England.
